On day 1 - Visit Golden Temple, Jaliawalah Bag and Wagah Border. On day 2, go for a food tour, visit the Golden temple again, Gobindgarh fort and enjoy food at some famous spots in Amritsar. On day 3, visit the Partition Museum, Hall Bazaar, Maharaja Garden & Panorama along with good food. This itinerary includes all famous food joints of amritsar including Kulchas, famous Aam Papad, Dal Makhni, Chaats.

September to December and February to March is the best time to visit Amritsar as the weather remains pleasant and suitable for sightseeing. The temperatures drop down in January and hover around 5°C while the peak summer months of May and June take the temperature to as high as 40°C
