Nainital has a subtropical highland climate, with pleasant weather throughout the year. The peak season in Nainital is from March to June, when the weather is mild and pleasant, making it a popular destination for tourists. During this time, temperatures typically range from 10°C to 27°C (50°F to 80°F) and the hills are covered with lush greenery.
The offseason in Nainital is from July to February, when the weather is cold and the town receives occasional snowfall. During this time, temperatures can drop as low as 0°C (32°F) and the hills are covered with mist and fog. This makes Nainital a popular destination for winter sports enthusiasts.
It's important to note that the weather in Nainital can be unpredictable and varies from year to year. It's always a good idea to check the weather forecast before planning a trip to Nainital.
Best time to go: March to June
The recommendations you gave were really nice!
Rucheet Gada · Jul 2023Your suggestions were amazing! Especially the food places.
simi singh · Jun 2023Hi I hd a really amazing stay at Nainital wid my daughters. Being my first independent trip after my hubby's death, I was a bit apprehensive. But thankfully ur itinerary and a bit of research on my side made it memorable. We went to Bhimtal, Naukuchiatal and Sattal too ( go there only if u r adventure enthusiast otherwise it's a waste of 6-7 k). Our trip to Mukteshwar was vry gd wid weather being awesome n the views frm hills were breathtaking. We went to eco village, woodland waterfall (small cramped waterfall) ,bhaloo waterfall ( trek 1.2 kms to reach there), botanical garden, adventure park, Mukteshwar Mahadev mandir, hanumangarhi and ofcourse naina devi mandir, bhotiya market, mall road. We had delicious momos at Chinatown eatery. We stayed at Himalaya hotel ( not recommended for elders as it has a steep slope) which was very nice and comfortable wid Lakeview room. We also ate at Cafe Lakeside ( ur recommendation) and the ambience and food was fantastic. Overall it was an amazing and memorable trip thanks to u guys. We hired a driver ( 3 days) Ali bhai who was amazing...sharing his nmbr 9927710724 Some points to note: 1. Expect traffic jams anywhere and at anytime. 2. The weather conditions are unpredictable there...so always keep an umbrella and a light jacket when u go for sightseeing. 3. There is lot of walking...so where comfortable shoes only. 4. There are bikers in market who cn drop u to nearby distances charging nominal amount. Thank you for the itinerary guys. U instilled confidence in me❤️

Indian GST law puts the place of supply on every invoice, and for a digital service that is your state. Nothing is posted to you, so we never ask for a street address unless you are buying for a company.

Day 1 — Reach Bhimtal
India - Nanital/Bhimtal, Uttarakhand · 3 days
Day 2 — Naina Peak & Sattal Lake
Every day looks like this. Stays, cash to carry and the budget sit with the day they belong to, so nothing hides at the end. The real document also carries timings and map links that open in the right country.
This is the itinerary itself, not a summary of it. The PDF adds timings, stays, map links and the budget.
Some booking links inside our itineraries are partner links: if you book through them we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. It never decides what we recommend.

The full 3-day itinerary, day by day: timings, real places with map links, stays, and food. You can read it in your browser or download the PDF, both the minute you pay. It also sits in your account, so you can open it again from any device, and the GST invoice is emailed with it.
Yes, and it is free. If something in the plan does not suit you — a stay outside your budget, a different transport option, restaurants for a dietary need, or combining this with another itinerary — tell us and one of us will sort it out with you on WhatsApp. Message +91 98733 95006 or write to hello@diytinerary.com. We reply on weekdays.
Yes. The itinerary is written by day, not by date, so it works whenever you go — the seasonal notes tell you what changes. If you would rather have it built around your actual dates, group and budget, use Adapt this itinerary for my dates above: that is a new itinerary written for you, and it costs less than one written from scratch.
Not on this one — we have no other India itinerary close enough to lift a stop from. If you want a different route, ask for a custom itinerary and we will plan it around the stops you name.
A ready-made itinerary is a file you receive immediately, so it is not refundable as a matter of course. A refund can be requested within 24 hours of a first purchase, and we look at genuine problems case by case — if the document will not open or is not what the page described, tell us and we will fix it or refund it. The full terms are on our refund and cancellation page.
Yes. The price you see is the final amount, with 18% GST already inside it. Nothing is added at the payment screen, and the invoice carries your state as the place of supply. If you are buying for a company, add the GSTIN on the form and the invoice comes with it so you can claim the input credit.
